Nature... Illegal!

Don't be shocked, nature was declared illegal and was even banned from growing way back since somewhere around 1985. Cannabis which is a part of nature was announced illegal to consume in any form and to even grow. If you ask why… well, the answer is simple because big pharmaceutical companies and many other industrial people were not making enough profit.
Having trouble understanding why they were not making enough profit. Well, because of all of the benefits one can have from cannabis plant about which back at those times people knew very little about. Back at that time there were few known benefits of cannabis or only a few knew about it but the business magnates knew its true potential and they knew as time passes by more of its medicinal properties will be known among normal people and it will be used more often form the treatment of many big diseases such as cancers which corrupt industrialist made costly to treat to its use in textile for their personal benefits.
And guess who helped them in achieving their goal our own Government the government which should help its people. They were successful in making it illegal as the literacy rate at that time was very low which somewhere lead to a lack of information about the cannabis plant. They had the perfect opportunity, the perfect time to present it as something bad in the eyes of the society. Even today most of the people consider cannabis as something bad. Some of my family members and friends have asked me that what are you doing, you are now talking about cannabis, have you been smoking it.
According to my consuming cannabis in any form is not much of a problem or not even a problem compared to tobacco and alcohol.
Do correct my mistakes, please.
